Net Purpose announced raising $2.5 million led by Illuminate Financial.
Net Purpose, a London, UK-based data provider of impact measurement for investors, announced the completion of a $2.5 million capital financing round.
The money was raised from investors led by Illuminate Financial, with participation from Revent Ventures, Jim O’Neill, Kevin Gould and J Jeffry Louis.
They join existing and new investors, including the Louis family, Matt Cooper, Sari Miller, Stefano Bernardi from Atomico’s Angel Programme; Matt Robinson and Vlad Tropko.
Mark Whitcroft will be joining the company’s Board of Directors from Illuminate Financial.
Proceeds will be used to expand the engineering and analytics teams and expand access to social and environmental performance data for more investors.
Net Purpose, founded in 2019 by CEO Samantha (Sam) Duncan and Dinah Koehler, has built an intel infrastructure crunching raw, quantitative data and which quantifies the social and environmental outcomes of companies and investment portfolios, enabling investors to effortlessly report on their impact and their contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals.
