New Nordic School secured €1.2M in angel investment
New Nordic School, an Espoo, Finland-based school, announced that it raised €1.2M ($1.4M) in a seed investmen round.
The investors include a FiBAN syndicate, as well as angel investors from Estonia and Singapore, and several other financing instruments.
The New Nordic School, founded in 2017 by Pia Jormalainen and CEO Suzanne Perkowsky, developed a new educational concept integrating best practices from around the world with the world renowned Finnish Curriculum. The New Nordic School has developed a completely new educational concept: the Nordic Baccalaureate with the goal to enhance creativity and innovative thinking through a curriculum that is personalized, multi-age, skill and strength driven, and is supportively led by teachers as mentors.
