Nhost secured $3 million in a round led by Nauta Capital.
Nhost, a Stockholm, Sweden-based developer of a serverless backend SAAS, announced completing a $3 million seed funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Nauta Capital, joined by Tom Preston-Werner, Scott Chacon, Christian Bach, Mathias Biilmann, and Antler.
Proceeds will be allocated for product development, go-to-market strategy as well as hire new talent across the business.
Nhost, incubated at Antler in 2020 by Johan Eliasson and Nuno Pato, developed an open-source platform that enables software developers to run and scale their applications without the need to manage complex infrastructure. The company calls its model Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS), as developers get instant access to a packaged stack of open-source components, including database, API, storage, user authentication and hosting.
