NinaData, a Helsinki, Finland-based software company developing online advertising solution, announced completing a $2M funding round.

The money is a combination of equity raised from previous investors, and public and private loans.

The proceeds will be used to further accelerate the development and adoption of its purpose-built AI for contextual buying intent.

NinaData, founded in 2021 by CEO Valtteri Pukander, built an industry-first solution for advertisers and programmatic advertising players that leverages purpose-built Knowledge Graphs and Deep Learning AI to solve the major issue of the removal of cookies and IDFA. The product is a buying intent platform that enables brands to reach consumers at the exact moment they are making a purchase decision online. Its contextual data platform uses purpose-built AI for the semantic analysis of text, video and images to build sustainable data value and insights for brands and content owners, and drive in-moment online results for brands. By using proprietary algorithms, the company provides URL-level buying intent classification for individual campaigns and destinations.
