Niryo secured €3 million in funding.
Niryo, a Lille, France-based robotics company, announced raising €3 million ($3.7M).
The money includes a loan from bpifrance and was raised from investors from France, including Nord Création, Nord France Amornement, Finorpa and Loire Valley Invest.
Niryo, founded by Marc-Henri Frouin in 2017 within ISEN, a digital engineering school in Lille, initially launched Niryo One, a small robot equipped with a six-axis arm for universities and training centers. The next iteration, Ned, was equipped it with an aluminum structure that replaces the plastic parts made in 3D printing. of the first model, which makes it more robust and more precise.
