Nodes acquires local devel shop Implicit.

Nodes, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based software development company, announced the acquisition of Aarhus, Denmark-based company Implicit.

The transaction involves a combination of shares and cash, and has financial details undisclosed.

Nodes, founded in 2008 by Daniel Højris Bæk and Andreas Green Rasmussen, is an app development provider, with 85 employees in offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Berlin, Prague, London, Manchester, and Amsterdam. The company works with clients including BAT, Fujitsu and Coloplast, is owned by Japanese Monstar Lab since August 2017, and made DKK 31.8M ($5M) in sales in 2017.

Implicit, founded in 2015 by Lars Erhardsen, Ulrich Kronvold, Søren Skov and Rune Alblas, originates from one of the largest Scandinavian Tech successes, Sitecore and has 20 employees in offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Ukraine working in Sitecore and .NET. The company has developed the web-portal of MobilePay, and websites for Danske Bank and  Rambøll and is a certified Sitecore Gold Partner.
