Nordcloud was acquired by IBM

Nordcloud, a Helsinki, Finland-based provider of cloud implementation, application transformation and managed services, announced getting into an agreement for being acquired by the Americans from IBM.

Financial details were not disclosed. Following the close of the transaction, Nordcloud will become an IBM Company.

Nordcloud, founded in 2011 by chairman Fernando Herrera and led by CEO Jan Kritz, delivers cloud infrastructure solutions and services, as a partner for deploying major public cloud platforms. The company is one of the few providers triple certified in Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.

Nordcloud was backed by Finnvera, which invested €20M together with OP Corporate Bank plc. in 2019.
