Nordisk Film invests DKK 10M in Flashbulb Games, a studio from Copenhagen.
Flashbulb Games, a Danish studio from Copenhagen, received DKK 10M ($1.44M) in external funding from Nordisk Film. Nordisk Film is a leading Nordic entertainment company, part of media group Egmont.
Flashbulb Games was founded by game developers Ole Teglbjærg, Rune Dittmer and Mikkel Thorsted in April 2016. The trio has developed a successful game, Press Play, which they sold to Microsoft in 2012 and released five other titles before Microsoft closed down PressPlay in March 2016.
The announcement comes after an announcement from the summer of 2016 that Nordisk Film is setting up an investment fund of hundreds of millions of Danish crowns, dedicated to be invested in Nordic games companies
