Nordvik Gruppen bought Bodø Billakkering AS

Nordvik Group, a Bodø, Norway-based company operating the largest car dealership in Northern Norway, announced that it acquired Bodø Billakkering, a local paint shop, also based in Bodø.

Financial details remained undisclosed.

Earlier in 2019, Nordvik Group took over another local business, the car damage workshop Stormyra Karosseri AS from Bodø. The two deals are in line with the group's intentions to consolidate its car services horizontally and vertically.

Bodø Billakkering AS has 4 employees and in 2018 had a turnover of NOK 6 million.

The Nordvik Group is a family owned company which was founded on 22 November 2005 and originates from M. Nordvik Bilsalg. The company is run and owned by the Nordvik family with CEO Thor Allan Nordvik and his three sons Alexander Nordvik, Christian Nordvik and Fredrik Nordvik as co-owners and board members.

Nordvik consists of 23 local car dealers and workshops in Trøndelag, Nordland and Troms. Nordvik Gruppeningen has 320 employees and revenues of about NOK 920 million.
