Nortical raised SEK 12 million from Norrsken VC, Almi Invest, E14 Invest and Jellyfish Invest.

Nortical, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based specialized in battery performance estimations, ageing prediction and value degradation of Lithium ion batteries, announced that it secured funding of SEK 12M ($1.4M).

The money was raised from a range of investors from Sweden, including Norrsken VC, Almi Invest, E14 Invest and Jellyfish Invest.

Nortical, founded in 2019 as EVLedger by Kristoffer Syversen, Axel Kullander and Pavel Calderon, builds a software tool for performing third-party verification of battery data. The tool enables second life applications, trading and sustainable recycling for many types of batteries. It also  verifies individual battery health and champions ethical and environmentally friendly extraction processes for battery minerals.
