Nowagruppen acquired Finwire, gets Pegroco as investor in the company.

Nowagruppen, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based PR communication consulting group, announced that it acquired the Swedish media agency Finwire.

The deal has the financial details undisclosed. The Nowa Group acquires Pegroco Invest's ownership in Finwire AB and, as a result, Finwire becomes part of the Nowa Group and Pegroco simultaneously becomes a new partner in the Communication Group Nowa Group.

Initially, this means that Pegroco owns 15% of the Nowa Group and that the Nowa Group in turn owns about 22% in Finwire.

Finwire is a news and content agency focused on financial and business-oriented information. Finwire has offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Copenhagen.

The Nowa Group, led by CEO Anders Wallqvist, has offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Malmö, Oslo and Visby. and has approximately 65 employees and a total turnover of approximately SEK 170 million in 2018.

The Nowa Group already consists of the parent company Nowa Communications, active in media consulting and digital communication, the concept and brand office Gappio, the event and design agency Stillback, the analysis and insight specialists Habermax, the idea and production agency ADV, the advertising agency Three Art with business to business focus, Nowaday's film and sound, strategic PR Nowa Empower and the communication agency DNA Agency.
