Nukute secured EUR 454k via Invesdor

Nukute, an Oulu, Finland-based startup building a business based on a sleep wearable, secured a capital funding totaling EUR 474k ($511k).

The money was raised from 73 investors via an equity crowdfunding campaign on Invesdor.

Nukute, founded in 2015 by Tuukka Visuri and led by CEO Toni Leinonen, develops, markets and sells solutions to support the diagnosis and monitoring of respiratory and pulmonary diseases. The first product, Nukute Collare, crucially facilitates the diagnosis of sleep apnea. Another product, Nukute Monitor, provides doctors with a much-needed opportunity to monitor the well-being of patients with respiratory and pulmonary diseases as well as Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (due to COVID-19 infection, among others) in both hospital and home care.
