Omeda Studios secured $2.2 million in a round led by GFR Fund.
Omeda Studios, a London, UK-based gaming studio, announced completing a funding round of $2.2 million.
The money was raised from investors led by GFR Fund, joined by Inventure, Progression Fund, 1Up Ventures, Arena & Co. and Ride Ventures. UK angel investors Chris Lee, Jas Purewal, and Rupert Loman also contributed to the round.
Omeda Studios was founded in 2020 by gaming influencer Robbie Singh along with Andrea Garella and Steven Meilleur. The company first started building Predecessor in 2018 using assets from the discontinued Epic Games MOBA Paragon, which were made freely available after the Fortnite publisher shut Paragon down in 2018.
