OpenSolution acquires Lindberg & Frisk AB

OpenSolution, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based payment solutions provider announced the acquisition of Lindberg & Frisk AB. The financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed.

OpenSolution is the leading provider of payment solutions in the Nordic region with over 8,000 customers including Tele2 Arena, Stureplans Group, CherryCasino, Airbus and Summerburst Festival.

Lindberg & Frisk has a sales department of 15 people and a customer base of over 8,000 active customers in Sweden. The sales are mainly aimed at the hotel and restaurant industry and include consumables, payment terminals and card redemption.

"With new owners, we can now continue to grow our business and also now beyond Sweden's borders for further expansion. The acquisition gives us a larger product range and the opportunity to reach an even bigger customer base from day one, "says Torbjörn Frisk, one of Lindberg & Frisks founder.
