Outpost24 purchases SecludIT, a French-based, cloud infrastructure security pioneer.

Outpost24, a Karlskrona, Sweden-based company, provider of vulnerability management solutions for commercial and government organizations, announced that it acquired the business of SecludIT from France. 

The financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, and the move brings together Outpost24’s existing cyber security risk assessment platform with SecludIT’s cloud, container, and virtualized security assessment technology to create an advanced assessment capability for organizations moving their workloads to the cloud.

SecludIT, based in south of France, in Sophia Antipolis, was founded in 2011 by security experts led by CEO Sergio Loureiro together with EURECOM, a French research institute in telecom and network security. SecludIT has developed Elastic Security, a set of products and services specifically designed to help cloud infrastructure providers and users to safely migrate to the cloud.

Outpost24, founded in 2001 and led by CEO Martin Henricson, provides vulnerability management services, by delivering insights that reduce vulnerabilities and attack surface for any architecture.

In 2016, Outpost24 recorded SEK 40M ($5M) in revenues.
