Paytrim announced raising SEK 44 million
Paytrim, a Skövde, Sweden-based startup developing a B2B payment platform, announced that it raised SEK 44 million ($5.1M) in capital funding.
The money was raised from a number of investors from Sweden, including Nordea's former Sweden CEO Anna Storåkers and former Swedbank CEO Michael Wolf.
Paytrim, founded in 2018 by CEO Eric Johansson, Gustav Buder and Maciej Strama, developed a B2B payment solution that combines a software platform with analysis tools that improve and simplify how companies receive payments. The company, which has a licence from the local authority Finansinspektionen, works by connecting its platform to existing terminals in stores or through its own terminal solution. The product has been in the works for three years, is yet to be launched and has around 1000 customers lined up for when it goes live.
