Pet Media Group acquired Puppyplaats from the Netherlands.

Puppyplaats, a Dutch operator of a marketplace for pets, announced that it was acquired by the Swedish pet company Pet Media Group.

Financial details were not disclosed.

This is the second acquisition announced by Pet Media group in 2021, after having acquired Annunci Animali and its sister site Allevamenti Razze, Italy-based operators of pet-related products marketplace.

Pet Media Group was spunoff of Hästnet and develops, launches, and acquires market-leading pet and horse marketplaces across Europe, with current operations in Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. Shareholders include Otiva, Verdane and VNV Global.
