Picture My Life secures SEK 2M in investment from Add Health Media.

Picture My Life, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing an image-based communication tool that makes life easier for children with special needs, their parents, educators and school, secured a SEK 2M ($250k) investment round.

The money is part of an equity crowd funding round made on Sciety which included Add Health Media as a backer. The funds will be used to add more resources for expanding internationally.

Picture My Life, founded in 2014 by Lisa Lidgren, Maria Skantz, Lollo Andström and Yvonne Malmström Grimme (CEO), develops tools for children and adults with cognitive difficulties. The company is working with 44 schools and 63 families, all subscribing customers from Sweden and Finland. In 2016, Picture My Life was almost breakeven and accounted for about SEK 1.3M in sales.
