Piepacker raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Lego Ventures.
Piepacker, a Paris, France-based game developer, announced that it completed a $12 million series A funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Lego Ventures and joined by Makers Fund and V13 Invest.
Piepacker, founded in 2020 by CEO Benjamin Devienne and Jules Testard, built a social gaming platform via a web browser, as it allows users to play official and licensed retro games. Its current free catalogue offers over 80 games with partnerships including Codemasters, Interplay, Team17, and Data East.
Piepacker was part of Y Combinator in the summer of 2020 and had previously raised $3 million.
