Pixelz raises $7M, aims to expand its US market for product image editing services.

Pixelz, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company providing SAAS product image editing services, secured $7M in fresh equity funding. The backers include local angel investors Anders Bjornsbo, Karsten Mathiesen and Morten Mathiesen.

Pixelz, founded in 2011 by Thomas Kragelund, Janus Matthesen and Tejs Rasmussen, started as a post production workshop, but has developed a new suite of tools to manage image retouching for small businesses. The company is based in Denmark and has offices in Germany, Spain and USA.

Pixelz was funded by Accelerace, which makes the exit with this occasion.
