Plaace, an Oslo, Norway-based startup building a digital marketplace, announced that it raised a funding round of NOK 10M ($1.1M).

The money was raised from local investors from Norway, including Startuplab, angel investors Gunnar Rydning, Helene Jebsen Anker and Peter Anker via Langebru, as well as several employees and people associated with Askeladden. The company has also received support from Innovation Norway.

Plaace was incubated in 2020 at Antler by CEO Snorre Jordheim, Tobias Martinsen and Peder Søholt, with the aim to build a digital platform connecting farm owners and other landlords of commercial property with the ideal tenants, as well as provide insight into the areas. The company is based on a B2B Saas model, where tenants largely get free access, while landlords have to pay for access, and has 10 pilot customers, including Akershus Eiendom and Scala Eiendom
