Playter raised $1.7M in a seed funding round led by Fin Capital and 1818 Ventures.

Playter Pay, a London, UK-based startup building a BNPL business around SMEs recruitment process, announced securing a $1.7 million seed funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Fin Capital and 1818 Ventures, and joined by RLC Ventures.

The proceeds will be used to expand operations as well as marketing and development efforts.

Playter Pay, founded in 2018 by CEO Jamie Beaumont, is a B2B BNPL company that builds what thay call a "Hire Now, Pay Later" business, a financial service producs that helps SMEs to borrow and spread the cost of their recruitment invoices over 6 months whilst paying the recruitment agency within 24 hours of invoice. The platform allows businesses to unlock up to £300k with no interest costs or revenue sharing with a subscription fee starting from as little as £550 per month. Customers include REalyse and Wiserfunding.

Playter previously raised £1 million in debt and equity funding in 2021.
