PodMe to get $2M from Schibsted and Gorilla Capital

PodMe, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company building a business around a a podcast platform, announced the completion of a SEK 21 million ($2M) capital investment round.

The money was provided by existing investors, including Norwegian media group Schibsted and Finnish early stage investor Gorilla Capital.

PodMe, founded in 2017 by CEO Johan Strömberg, built a podcast platform with content available on a subscription basis. Prior to this round, in 2019, the company raised SEK 13M.
