Polimerbio announced $333k from Clave Mayor.

Polimerbio, a San Sebastian, Spain-manufacturer of medical materials, announced the completion of a EUR 300k ($333k) capital investment round.

The money was provided by Clave Mayor through its tech transfer fund UN I+D+i Tech Transfer and included participation from Universidad de Navarra (UN).

Polimerbio, led by CEO Juan Carlos Antigüe, was founded in 2017 as a spin-off linked to the Zibio research group. The company manufactures bioabsorbable medical devices and soft tissue engineerin - new medical devices that bioabsorb in the body, thereby saving the second intervention and comfort for the patient.
