Pop Up Shops secured a capital raise.

Pop Up Shops, a Zurich, Switzerland-based startup operating a digital marketplace for finding short-term retail spaces for rental, announced the completion of a funding round.

Financial details and the name of the investors were not disclosed.

Pop Up Shops, founded in 2015 by CEO Chalid El Ashker, operates an online marketplace for renting short-term retail and promotional areas, partial areas, shelves and walls - active in Switzerland, Germany, Great Britain and the USA. The Swiss retail space providers include companies such as Migros, SBB, Swiss Post, Wincasa and SPG Intercity.
