Posten Norge sells Bring Citymail to Allegra Capital

Bring Citymail, a, Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of postal services in Sweden, announced that its owners, Posten Norge, sold the company to the German private equity company Allegra Capital.

The financial details of the deal remain undisclosed. On this occasion, Bring Citymail will be renamed Citymail.

Bring Citymail was founded in 1991 under the name Citymail and was acquired by Posten Norge in 2002. The company specialized in direct mail and advertising and has become the second largest player in the Swedish postal market.

Citymail is led by CEO Patrik Östberg and had a turnover of approximately SEK 2bn (EUR 200M), with approximately 3,600 employees in 2017.
