PowerUs to get €1.7 million in a funding round backed by HV Capital, Y Combinator and angel investors from Germany.
PowerUs, a Berlin, Germany-based startup building a career platform for people with technical background, announced closing a €1.7 million ($2M) capital funding round.
The money was raised from investors including HV Capital, SEK Ventures and angel investors Maximilian Viessmann and Hanno Renner.
Y Combinator and Neal O'Mara also joined the round.
PowerUs, founded as Electry in 2019 by Julian Lindinger and Konrad Geiger, developed a digital platform serving as a career service for technical specialists from apprenticeships such as electronics engineers and plant mechanics to find a tailored and suitable job. The company says that it has a database of about 20k users on the platform.
PowerUs was previously part of Y Combinator in 2020.
