Pridatect secures €2.2 million in a round led by Sabadell Venture Capital.

Pridatect, a Barcelona, Spain-based compliance SaaS developer, announced raising a €2.2 million ($2.6M) capital round.

The money was raised from investors led by Sabadell Venture Capital, and including Banco Sabadell, which has contributed one million euros, as well as Wayra Spain and other existing investors.

Pridatect, founded in 2017 and led by CEO David Casellas, offers a complete and versatile solution to generate and maintain all the documentation and procedures related to compliance with the new legal framework of the GDPR for agencies, consultancies, lawyers and data protection experts. The platform, which stands out for its intuitive and visual interface, is helping thousands of companies in Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom with the protection of their data, facilitating the identification and analysis of data risks and the implementation of solutions.

Pridatect previously raised EUR 1 million from Encomenda Smart Capital and ESADE BAN in 2019.
