Prisma raised $12 million from Amplify Partners
Prisma, a Munich, Germany-based SAAS database developer, announced raising a $12 million Series A round.
The money round was led by Amplify Partners, a VC based in Menlo Park, California.
The money will be used to build commercial services that will enable development teams and organizations to collaborate better in projects that are using Prisma.
Prisma, founded as Graphcool in 2016 by Johannes Schickling (CEO) and Søren Bramer Schmidt (CTO), develops software tools for GraphQL application programming interface which provides operations with filtering, sorting, pagination and realtime capabilities, enabling users to build a GraphQL server with any database.
Prior to this round, in 2018, Prisma raised a $4.5 million seed round led by Kleiner Perkins.
