Prognolite raised CHF 1.25 million in a round led by the Innovationsstiftung der SZKB.

Prognolite, a Zurich (Winterthur)-based start-up developing a SAAS for the hsopitalty business, announced completing a funding round of CHF 1.25 million ($1.4M).

The money was provided by Innovationsstiftung der SZKB and angel investors from Switzerland. The company also added three people to its board of directors: Urs Bischof, André Hüsler and Damian Janzi from the Innovationsstiftung.

Prognolite, founded in 2016 and led by CEO Simon Michel, developed and sells a SAAS that helps restaurants optimize their staff planning, reduce food waste and help predict how many guests will visit the restaurant at a given day. Customers include restaurants from Switzerland including Jungfraujoch, Nooch and Negishi.
