Quartr raised capital
Quartr, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based startup building a mobile app for investor conference calls, announced that it raised SEK 14 million ($1.6M) in capital funding.
The money was raised from local angel investors from Sweden, including GoldenS, as well as angel investors Peter Sterky (CEO of Trift Capital / former CFO of Spotify) and Ludwig Pettersson (CEO of Savelend), Dan Castillo (Onlinepizza's founder), Jacob Hellqvist (former CFO at Epidemic Sound), and Michael Batnick and Ben Carlson, known for running a finance-based podcast in the United States, Animal Spirits.
Quartr, founded in 2020 by CEO Sami Osman, Oliver Hamrin, Oscar Küntzel, August Nordström and David Dag, developed a service for listed companies providing them with a space for uploading relevant information for investors. The service is available via a mobile app and is in use by 4,000 companies in 15 markets.
