Raw Fury closes $600k in seed money from angel investors David Helgason and Rikard Lindström

Raw Fury, a Stockholm, Sweden-based gaming startup announced closing $600k in a seed investment round.

The money comes from local angel investors Craig Fletcher, David Helgason and Rikard Lindström, and also includes existing investor Karl Magnus Troedsson. All three investors are Nordic veterans with solid business experience.

Raw Fury, founded in 2015 and led by CEO Jonas Antonsson, is a video gaming studio specializing in the publication of indie games. According to the Swedish records, the company lost money in 2016, at a sales figure of SEK 12.7M ($1.5M).

The new funds will be used to further bolster Raw Fury’s efforts to bring its catalog to console platforms, to sign more games and to hire additional personnel to oversee this growth ensuring that projects continue to run smoothly.

Prior to this round, Raw Fury closed a pre-seed money round in the summer of 2016. The company intends to initiate raising a larger investment round, as a support for the anticipated company's growth.
