Recare raises €2 million in funding from the BKX fund and angel investors from Germany

Recare, a Berlin, Germany-based SAAS developer for the healthcare industry, announced completing a €2 million ($2.4M). funding round.

The money was raised from German backers, including the BKX fund (Die BrückenKöpfeX fund), Thieme Verlag, Tech Beteiligungen and angel investors Petra Becker, Niklas Östberg and Oliver Pabst.

Proceeds will be used to further expand the German and French markets.

Recare, founded in 2017 by CEO Maximilian Greschke, developed a software platform for discharge management and supply control in hospitals and other medical facilities. With its B2B marketplace, Recare is trying to end the paperwork in the German healthcare system.
