ReceiptHero raised €2M led by Nordic early-stage investors Lifeline Ventures, Superhero Capital & Vidici Ventures.
ReceiptHero, a Tampere, FInland-based SAAS developer of a digital receipt system, announced that it raised funding of €2M ($2.4M).
The money was raised from investors from Finland, led by early stage backers Lifeline Ventures, Superhero Capital & Vidici Ventures. Proceeds will be used for expansion in the Baltics & Sweden, planned for 2021.
ReceiptHero, founded in 2018 and led by CEO Joel Ojala, built an open digital receipt system that sends digital receipts from point of sale (POS) systems to various applications, such as expense tracking and accounting software. The company's mission is being committed to removing paper receipts from existence and finding ways to build out a global platform allowing merchants to send customers receipts without the need for the printer to… print.
ReceiptHero previously raised capital from angel investors from FInland including Asko Schrey, Jukka Heinonen and Teemu Varpanen.
