reciTAL completed a €3.5 million funding round from Breega investment.
reciTAL, a Paris, France-based software developer, announced the completion of its first capital round totalling €3.5 million ($4.1M).
The money was provided by the VC from France, Breega Capital, a venture capital company owned by Société Générale.
Proceeds will be used for growh, as the company aims to become the benchmark platform for research, extraction and automation of documentary databases and flows.
reciTAL, founded in 2017 by Gilles Moyse and Frédéric Allary, develops machine learning-based products applied to unstructured documents, such as emails and contracts. The company's products are used currently by several major French banks and insurance companies, and include one named Genius, used for extracting answers from unformatted textual documents, and anothe called Quieto, used to automate email processing.
