The company, led by founder and CEO Magnus Haug Wanberg, has been working on the product for three years by the time it launched on November 30, 2016.

Instead of using a third party, the company decided to get all the buzz and sales process on its website - by Fridat night, it sold 1000 units in total value of NOK 3M - three times as much as the sales target set for February 2017.
