ReMoni secured DKK 30 million from angel investors from Denmark.

ReMoni, an Aarhus, Denmark-based manufacturer of smart IoT sensors for tracking data in manufacturing facilities, raised DKK 30 million ($4.7M) in an equity round.

The money was raised from investors from Denmark, including Henning Kruse Pedersen, chairman of Lunar Bank, Jannik Kruse Pedersen, former EQT partner, Erik G. Hansen, also a former EQT partner, and Christian Rasmussen, co-owner of Fjelsted Rasmussen Invest.

ReMoni (which is short for remote engineering), founded in 2014 and led by CEO Bo Eskerod Madsen, developed a technical solution based on smart sensors capable of tracking data from technical installations such as production units, pumps, motors, ventilation, pipes, heaters and coolers. The solution monitors resource consumption in the form of water, heat and energy both in homes and businesses.

ReMoni previously raised $2.9 million from Danish angel investor Kenneth Iversen in 2020.
