Cirqle in a DKK 20 million funding round backed by Vaekstfonden.

Cirqle, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based smart packaging company, announced the completion of a DKK 20 million ($3M) equity financing round.

The money was raised from investors led by Vaekstfonden.

Cirqle, founded in 2020 by CEO Jan Weber and funded by the founders of Simple Feast - Jakob Jønck Nordenhof and Thomas Stilling Ambus, built a business selling recycled packaging on subscription to meal delivery companies. The service is primarily aimed at all Danish and Swedish companies that deliver meals or groceries to consumers.
