RFRSH Entertainment secured €10M in additional funding, focuses on BLAST Pro Series.

RFRSH Entertainment, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company providing esports agency services, announced that it has raised an additional DKK 74.5M ($11.3M) in funding.

The round was led by Creandum, Sunstone and the Danish Growth Fund and the capital will be used to focus the company on building a business around its events BLAST Pro Series.

RFRSH Entertainment, founded in 2016 by a group of people led by Nikolaj Nyholm, is a media company focused on the esports vertical and providing entertainment and media production services. The company also created and operated the international Counter-Strike Tournament BLAST Pro Series and intends to host 8 live events in 2019 with destinations such as Sao Paulo, Miami and Madrid on the spring program.

RFRSH, which has offices in Copenhagen and London, had raised more than $12M in funding since its founding.
