Riact announced raising $850k.

Riact, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based developer of a development platform for robot applications, announced that it raised $850k in capital funding.

The money was raised from Wallenberg Foundations.

Riact, founded in 2018 by Magnus Philip Ritzau, Francesco Rovida, Volker Krueger and CEO Bjarne Grossmann, develops robotic automation software, which they call "WordPress for robots” in terms of adaptability and ease of use. The platform represents a framework of templates intended to make it easier for users to set up applications and is connected to vendor software tools such as FANUC, UR, KUKA, functioning like an app store, where different manufacturing specialists can use RiACT as the hub to do things together.
