Sanity Group announced a €5 million media-for-equity investment backed by SevenVentures.

Sanity Group, a Berlin, Germany-based cannabis producer company, announced getting into a €5 million ($6M) capital agreement.

The deal represents a media-for-equity investment backed by SevenVentures, an investment company of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. The company will use the investment to further publicize its CBD brand VAAY and the natural cosmetics line This Place on the high-reach and target group-affine TV channels of the Seven.One Entertainment Group.

Sanity Group, founded in 2018 by Finn Hänsel and Fabian Friede, is dedicated to the medical and health use of cannabinoid, and sells lifestyle and cosmetic products based on cannabinoids and nature under the brands VAAY and This Place The company has 80 employees and its operations span from medicinal cannabis to consumer wellbeing and tech.
