Savr announced raising SEK 50 million

Savr, a Stockholm, Sweden-based operator of a digital financial platform, announced that it finalised a capital raise of SEK 50M ($6M).

The name of the investors contributing with money remained undisclosed.

Savr, founded in 2016 by CEO Daniel Aarenstrup and Hannes Arthursson, developed a consumer platform that allows users to choose their option of funds and pay half the commissions and distribution fee compared to market prices.

The company previously raised relatively little money (about $1M) in two other funding rounds from local investors from Sweden, including Andreas Grape, Jacob Rudbäck, Krister Sundling, Recapex, Robert Swartling and Sebastian af Jochnick.
