Scale Capital announced a $22 million technology fund to back Danish startups.

Scale Capital, a Copenhagen (Bredgade), Denmark-based investment fund, announced launching its second fund aimed to close at DKK 150M ($22M).

Scale Capital was founded in 2012 by Lars Jensen and Kenneth Grunow and since then have made 12 investments and completed 7 exits. Existing portfolio includes Cylindo, Airtame and Unsilo.

The company targets small companies and startups - it aims to invest DKK 5-10 million ($750-1.5M) per round and is committed to get involved in the operations, by helping them enter the US market. Scale Capital also has an office in San Francisco.
