Scapin in a SEK 30 million investment deal backed by Creandum and Heartcore.
Scapin, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup building a consumer social network, announced the completion of a SEK 30M ($3.5M) capital funding round.
The money was raised from investors including Sweden's VC Creandum and Denmark's VC Heartcore.
Scapin, founded in 2021 by Joachim Hedenius, co-founder and former CTO of Kry/Livi, and Leo Nilsson, former CPO of iZettle, is working on the development of what it calls the next generations’ social communication platform - for connecting in the virtual age. Its immersive tool utilizes avatars, spatial interfaces and virtual interactivity, and integrates real-life experiences into its digital product to enable meaningful social engagements.
Scapin's product is yet to be launched.
