School Parrot, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company building a platform for reviews and information about schools from Sweden, completed a SEK 5M ($520k) capital investment round.

The money was provided by Magnentus Capital and will be used to launch the platform and make it internationally available.

School Parrot, founded in 2018 by Eric Giseau and Sebastian Öblom, built a web platform with a database of 13,000 schools from Sweden, updated with the official info provided by the Swedish National Agency for Education. The platform's aim is to be a single purpose info source for reviews for parents and kids interested in researching the education institutions.

Prior to this round, in 2018, School Parrot received SEK 2M from Niklas Kylberg, contributed to the owned-capital added by the two founders.
