Scientific EdTech raises SEK 5.6 million

Scientific EdTech, a Lund, Sweden-based developer of a mobile app that is used for teaching basic mathematics, announced that it secured SEK 5.6 million ($600k) in capital investment.

The funding was provided by investors including Helhjärtad Finans, Viarp Invest, Nordic Game Ventures and LU Holding, which is owned by Lund University.

Scientific EdTech, founded in 2017 as a spinoff from Lund University by Martin Hassler Hallstedt and Henrik Rosvall, is a digital learning company that develops an optimal way to teach mathematics in primary school to children worldwide. The tech includes scientifically proven methods, cognitive behavioural therapy, modern proprietary technology and game design.

Prior to this round, in 2018, Scientific EdTech raised SEK 5M.
