Scientific EdTech secured SEK 5M from LU Innovation and Viarp Invest.
Scientific EdTech, a Lund, Sweden-based company developing a mobile app helping kids from primary school learn math, completed a SEK 5M ($566k) capital investment round.
The money was provided by investors including LU Innovation and Viarp Invest. At the same time, Pontus Bodelsson and Per Wargéus will join the company's board of directors.
Scientific EdTech, founded in 2017 as a spinoff from Lund University by Martin Hassler Hallstedt and Henrik Rosvall, is a digital learning company that develops an optimal way to teach mathematics in primary school to children worldwide. The company builds its product on game design and CBT / learning psychology and expects to make it publicly available in 2019 in the Nordic region and later aiming for Asia.
