Scytl secured EUR 5M from Nauta and Balderton.

Scytl, a Barcelona, Spain-based provider of secure election management and electronic voting solutions, completed a capital investment round of EUR 5 million ($5.6M).

The funding was provided by existing investors, Nauta Capital, Vulcan Capital and Balderton Capital.

Scytl, founded in 2001 and led by CEO Silvia Caparrós, is specializing in election modernization technologies, as it offers end-to-end election management and voting platform, providing the highest security and transparency standards currently available.

The company has developed election-specific cryptographic security technology protected by more than 40 international patents and patent applications.
