Secret Sales, a London, UK-based fashion marketplace operator, announced raising €10 million ($12M) in Series A funding.

The money was raised from investors led by the family-backed private equity and growth capital investor Perwyn Growth Capital, and supported by Belerion Capital, the ecommerce investment specialist and early-stage investor in Asos, The Hut Group and Boohoo Group.

Secret Sales will use the money to advance technological development. It will also enable the business to improve data mining capabilities to optimise user experience on the platform, which it said will increase sales and customer engagement for its brand and retail partners.

Secret Sales, founded in 2020 by CEO Chris Griffin and Matt Purt, is a fashion ecommerce operation, a digital outlet village providing fashion and sportswear items alongside quintessential homeware essentials and luxury cosmetics at affordable prices.

Dolce & Gabbana, Versace 19v69, G-Star Raw, Superdry, Ted Baker and Jigsaw are among brands selling on the platform, alongside premium retailers including Yoox Net-a-Porter, Harvey Nichols, and JD Sports Group.
