Sensario secured NOK 12.5 million from Lyse.
Sensario, a Bergen, Norway-based software developer for boat monitoring, completed a capital raise of NOK 12.5M ($1.3M).
The funding was provided by the Lyse Group and its early-stage fund, together with existing investors from the USA. In addition to the equity, the company secured loans from DNB and Innovation Norway amounting to NOK 2.5 million.
The deal values the company at NOK 36 million ($4M).
Sensario, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Paal Kaperdal, developed Sensar Marine, based on a box called SmartBoat One, which collects information from the boat when it is moored at the pier or is in use. With the help of sensors and connection to the 4G network, boat owners can get data that shows how much water has penetrated into the boat, how often the water pump has been started and the temperature it has at all times been exposed to right into the app.
Prior to this round, in 2019, Sensario raised NOK 10 million.
